Day 02: Udaipur Full Day City Tour

Day 03: Udaipur to Jodhpur (260 Km / 06 Hrs)

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and make your way to Udaipur in the morning, stopping along the way to see the Jain Temple of Ranakpur. This temple is special because it features 29 halls with exquisite carvings and sculptures, as well as 200 pillars, each of which is carved differently.

Arrive at the hotel in the blue city of Jodhpur and spend the night there.

Day 04: Proceed to Jaisalmer (305 kms – 6 hours)

Arrive by the afternoon. Good evening. A visit to the Jaisalmer Fort, which was constructed in 1156 by Jaisala, a Rajput ruler. With its 99 bastions, the fort towers over the city at a height of 100 meters, making it a magnificent sight in the afternoon sun. An intimidating set of enormous gates opens into a spacious courtyard at the entrance to the fort. Manek Chowk, the main marketplace, is located outside the fort. The famous carved havelis can be found by walking into the lanes from Manek Chowk.

Day 05: Sightseeing around Jaisalmer 

Visit Patwon ki Haveli, one of Jaisalmer’s biggest and most ornate homes, in the morning after breakfast. It has extensive carvings and is five stories high. It has six apartments, two of which are owned by the Archaeological Survey of India, the Jain Temples (a collection of exquisite Jain temples constructed within the Jaisalmer fort between the 12th and 15th centuries), and Tazia Tower (a delicate pagoda that rises from the Badal Mahal (Palace of Clouds).They are devoted to Rikhabdevji and Sambhavnathji and have exquisite carvings. The fort also houses a temple dedicated to Shiva and Ganesh. Established as a part of Jain temples, Gyan Bhandar, or Library, is home to some of India’s oldest manuscripts.

Day 06: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur (325 kms. / approx. 7 hour drive)

You will travel today to Jodhpur, the capital of Marwar, which is surrounded by the striking Meherangarh Fort on a cliff. Check into your hotel when you arrive.
